For user alerts, refer to “Customizing the FUNCTION NAVIGATION_EXECUTE_OBJECT_HELP Function” for information on the SAP customizations required to enable this functionality.
There are three basic steps to create an alert:
- Activate alerts for the SAP system.
- Configure the system by creating the message and the alert.
- Activate alerts for a designated server(s).
Alerts functionality is not available for SAP HTML GUI users.
Depending on whether you are creating user alerts or logon alerts, some options in the following procedures may not be available.
