Locking the help server selection prevents end users from specifying a help server from themenu option. You may want to lock the server selection in order to ensure proper server assignment. In addition, you may want to block certain users in a geographical area from accessing help in a global instance and impacting limited bandwidth.
A screen information server allows an administrator to display screen information that could be used to enable screen-level context-sensitive help. Screen information servers are not appropriate for selection as an end-user help server.
